Ruth C. Yeager

Ruth Conklin Yeager, age 91, of Brainerd, went to her heavenly home on Monday, June 28, 2021. Ruth was born on July 19, 1929, in Sexton Creek, Kentucky to Robert & Laura (Marcum) Clark.

Ruth worked as a mail carrier for rural Merrifield for 22 years. In her free time, she liked to garden, crochet and was an avid walker. She loved to bake and cook and provided many wonderful treats to the Ossipee Church. She was a member there for 45 years. She loved Jesus and leaned on him for her strength.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter; Faye (Richard) DeMarre of Merrifield; sons; Dan (Alice ) Conklin of Brainerd, and Robin (Cinda) Conklin of East Gull Lake; stepchildren: Rich (Loretta) Yeager of Merrifield, Doug (Cindy) Yeager of Merrifield, Philip (Joanne) Yeager of Phoenix, AZ and Kathy (James) Henderson of Rowlett, TX; siblings: Mamie (Earl) Reed of Tyner, KY and Ishmeal Clark of OH; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.

Ruth is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, William Conklin; second husband, Richard Yeager; daughter Mabel Smith; son-in-law, Willis Smith; stepson, Gary Yeager.

  Graveside services for Ruth will be private.

          Rest in peace sweet Momma.
