Sandra Hallas Johnson

Sandra Hallas Johnson, age 73, died on June 16, 2021 surrounded by loved ones. Sandy was born on July 15, 1947 in Brainerd, MN. She and her husband owned the Hardware Hank in Nisswa for many years. She earned her degree in social work from The University of Minnesota. Sandy was an ardent quilter, gardener, story teller, historian, reader--too many passions to list! Quick with a joke, she made everything fun. Sandy was always unabashedly herself. Our loving and thoughtful wife, mom, grandma, great grandma and friend, may your wonderful spirit take flight on the wings of our love. Sandy is survived by her husband, Dave, daughters, Melissa (Doug) Anderson and Sara (Lee) Lauer, nine grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents, Louis and Kathryn, siblings, Margie and Jim, and son, Jason.
