Sandy Theisen, 72, of Brainerd, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2020, in Peoria, IL.

Sandy was born in Utica, NY and spent most of her adult life in Brainerd, MN, raising her family. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant, devoted and caring mother, grandmother and military wife. Sandy was an independent lady and was always on the go. She also cared for the elderly and volunteered at Heritage Assembly of God Church in Baxter, MN. She will be greatly missed.

Sandy is survived by her children: Bob (Jen), Deejai and Theresa. Grandchildren: Jack, Sam, Noah and Breanna; and numerous other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Theisen Sr. and will be laid to rest with him at Camp Ripley-Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery.

Family and friends are invited to gather over coffee and treats from 11-1pm., Monday, Feb. 24th, in the Fireside Room at Heritage Assembly of God Church in Baxter, MN to remember and celebrate her life.
