Shawn M. Crist

Shawn Michael Crist, age 44 of Ironton died at his home on December 12, 2019. He was born to Steven and Kathleen (Meyer) Crist in St. Paul on September 30, 1975. Shawn was employed with Grand Casino Mille Lac’s as a card dealer and with Steve’s Painting. He was an avid fisherman, motorcyclist and card player.

He is survived by his life partner, Jessica Wilson; one son, Cole (Brooke Kretzman) Crist of Brainerd; one daughter, Sadie Crist of Ironton; a grandson, Cooper Crist; his parents, Steven and Kathleen Crist of Ironton; one brother, Jeffrey (Evelyn Voss) Crist of Baxter; one sister, Jeannie Grieser of Brainerd.

He is preceded in death by one brother, Jeremy Crist.

A Celebration of Shawn’s life is being planned. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
