William ‘Bill’ Bush

William “Bill” Bush, 80, passed away on December 25, 2021. Services will take place at Park United Methodist Church in Brainerd on January 7, 2022. Visitation will take place from 10:00 – 11:00 AM on Friday January 7, 2022, at the church, with the service to follow. A lunch will be at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Baxter following the service. Burial will be at the Baxter City Cemetery.

Bill was born on February 28, 1941, in Anoka to William and Mildred (Stearns) Bush. He married Judy Ekstrum on June 19, 1959. They were a long-time resident of Anoka/Andover and after retiring, moved to the Brainerd Lakes Area.

Bill was a Charter Member of Andover Fire Department and Rescue, his volunteer activities included Anoka band parents. He enjoyed the great lakes, wildlife, camping, sailing, kayaking and spent several years as a snowbird in Arizona.

Bill is survived by his wife Judy; children Terry (Karen) Bush, Anita (Tim) Whichello, and Sandra (Dave) Beyer; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Mildred, siblings, Bob Bush, Betty Mae Flohr, and Marilyn Madsen.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter.
