Andy Dawkins, former St Paul representative, is Green Party's candidate for Attorney General. His goals:
• Focus on climate change affecting public resources, divest fossil fuels;
• Audit HMOs for transparency of federal health care funds;
• Re-establish consumer protection laws;
• Campaign finance reform;

• Spotlight big money's influence in politics.
After Hamline graduation Dawkins opened "Andy's Law Office - Where The Meter Isn't Always Running." I witnessed his integrity in a loan agreement between me and a mutual friend. He turned to his friend and said, "Don't burn her." Righteous.
Andy's history, protecting consumers, environment, rate-payers, advocating for people, not corporations, fighting a good fight for regular folks, was built with conciliation and cooperation.
"It's not about being left or right; it's about finding the true center. There are good-hearted, well-intentioned politicians on both sides of the aisle, but the system is broken," Andy says. "I believe the people of Minnesota want action ... we can make a difference on being good stewards of resources, pursuing economic justice, getting government out of private lives, and preserving a Minnesota in which everyone can achieve full potential in a peaceable world. If you say the big money, two-party establishment is getting in the way ... and want an attorney general to represent the people, I'm with you!"
A vote for Andy is a step toward returning Greens to major party status. Five percent of votes for Dawkins in this statewide office can break the major parties' stranglehold on politicking, foster adoption of wildly effective Instant Runoff (Ranked) Voting, allowing people to support their real choices without worrying about "throwing away their vote." Greens and the other minors in the mix can undo the obscene influence of Big Money in unregulated free-for-all economic policies.
Greens, they're fresh, like salad. Vote Dawkins for AG.
