Reader Opinion: Election security
Paul Gazelka is playing games with Minnesota's election security. Minnesota is the only state not to authorize 100% of federal election security grant money. I'd like to know who Gazelka thinks he represents. Does he really think undermining election security in these times is a good idea? Maybe this is just another crackpot blackmail scheme where he's holding out for some outlandish lost cause he supports or made up. I don't think it's a good idea to get extra pay (special session) because one legislator refuses to do the people's work. Election security is of critical importance and shouldn't become a blackmail issue.
