Reader Opinion: Selective beliefs

The vice president claims to believe in the Bible. It seems strange, then, that he would vehemently excuse and enable a person who breaks one or more of the Ten Commandments almost daily.

No. 7: Thou shalt not commit adultery.

No. 9: Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.

There are other acts that this person commits almost daily, such as the cruelty he shows when dealing with immigrant children, such as being inconsiderate to the people around him and who support him.

I can't understand those Republicans who don't say anything when he does things that normal people abhor. Who is going to help them when they get voted out of office in the 2020 election? Others who are in appointed positions will also have a problem in convincing employers of their integrity.
