Daily, Mr. Trump causes America’s “word” to be worthless.

America committed to the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement, with 11 other countries, to lower tariff and non-tariff barriers to trade, create positive economic outcomes, reduce dependence on China and tie other countries closer to America. Claiming to act on behalf of the American people, Mr. Trump trashed America’s “word” and instead gave America trade war with China.

America committed to an Iranian nuclear containment agreement, with Iran and the member states of the United Nations Security Council, to stabilize the Middle East and limit Iran’s nuclear development by lifting of economic sanctions, an agreement applauded by Pope Francis. Claiming to act on behalf of the American people, Mr. Trump trashed America’s “word” and instead gave America accelerated Iranian nuclear weaponry development.

America committed to the Paris Climate Control Agreement, part of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change signed by 195 nations, to reduce greenhouse-gas-emissions and give our descendants the possibility of life on earth. Claiming to act on behalf of the American people, Mr. Trump trashed America’s “word” by giving notice to all humanity that America will not honor America’s commitment to reduce emissions and instead gave America increased greenhouse-gas-emissions.

America committed to the Kurdish people, who died to protect America from the terror of ISIS, that America would stand by them as they have stood by America. Claiming to act on behalf of the American people, Mr. Trump trashed America’s “word” by abruptly abandoning the Kurdish people to slaughter and instead gave America freed ISIS fighters.

The “first commandment” of the Boy Scout Law is to be “trustworthy,” a bedrock American principle alien to Mr. Trump. A measure of this man, but not of America, is his “word.” Not. Trust. Worthy.

America, not Trump, first. Impeach and remove.
