Reader Opinion: A vote for Ward

I have known John Ward since my youth and he was a great role model then, and a great mentor now.

A Brainerd school board member needs to be someone who already has a history of being dedicated to our community and kids through community outreach. I have known John Ward since my youth and he was a great role model then, and a great mentor now. John has the ability to build relationships and has the experience as a state representative and community leader that has allowed him to unify, not divide. Even in retirement, John has passion for our kids, and it radiates when he talks about our Warrior culture. John’s loyalty and dedication to our community is inspiring and I know John will bring that same commitment to community to the Brainerd School Board. A vote for our kids’ education is a vote for Ward on Nov 8.
