Charles Black Lance is a leader who not only speaks up for all students, but also listens! I do want a School Board member with a strong voice to protect and improve the quality of education students in ISD 181 now enjoy. Black Lance has proven this by declaring his greatest priority is to safeguard our district’s learning environment that meets all students where they are and then challenges them to grow. As liaison to the District’s Equity Task Force (2020-current) and in his leadership role as Vice Chair (2021-current), Black Lance’s leadership, his experience and his down to earth wisdom deserve our support for another term. It’s not only his thoughtful voice, but more so, it is his welcoming demeanor and his ability to listen to us that make him a great asset for the Brainerd School Board.
