We have lived in the Brainerd area for 28 years and raised our daughters in this community. I served in health care and my wife as an educator and volunteer. We instilled in our children the value of education, service, and the virtues of wellness. Our children were fortunate to benefit from this excellent school district.
With great pleasure we endorse Amanda Ciesinski Chan for election to the ISD 181 school board. We have come to know Amanda very well. We know Amanda to be a sincere individual who is diplomatic and very caring. She’s a valued educator and public health professional with a passion for helping others. She’s a thoughtful, deliberate person who seeks to understand all points of view. Amanda has the skill set necessary to be an effective school board member. We hope our grandchildren will have the opportunity to benefit from what she has to offer.
