I have gotten to know Amanda and the Chan family over the last few winters. Our daughters participate together in the Learn To Skate classes offered by the Vacationland Figure Skating Club. The girls are just beginning their season, and we are grateful they have this opportunity to see their friends, learn new skills, and connect with their community. For many students, the activities that they once enjoyed have either been canceled or drastically changed. The loss of these important activities can take a toll on student well-being. As a public health professional, Amanda values and understands the importance of developing these social relationships for our students. She will collaborate and work not only to keep our students safe but also to keep them active and engaged.
