I would like to congratulate the people of Crow Wing County for their record participation in this year's election. Most significantly, 78.7% of eligible voters and more than 85% of registered voters in CWC voted. It was wonderful to see so many people out at the polls. We had a great slate of local candidates. Thank you, candidates, for putting yourself out there and running for office.
I would also like to thank Deb Erickson and all her staff for the remarkable job they did handling the record turnout in a year with so many challenges. The logistics of putting together an election during a pandemic and having it run smoothly is quite a feat.
