I have known John Ward since moving to Brainerd in 1994. He was my mentor, as a first year teacher, at Franklin Junior High. He was an awesome teacher. Students and staff admired him. I have always found him to be ethical, hard working and he truly cares about people! When he was a member of the House of Representatives, representing District 10A, I had the chance to write him a letter expressing my opinion about a certain law that was going to be voted upon. He immediately replied to my concerns and has always been open to viewpoints other than his own. He is currently running as a write-in candidate for Baxter City Council.
