Reader Opinion: Conspiracy theorist?

I signed up for the vaccine as early as I could, but I respect the right of others to come to a different conclusion if their health-risk assessment contains factors that mine does not.

Mike McFeely’s column reprinted in the Brainerd Dispatch seems to substitute a clever turn of phrase for responsible journalism.

I’ve read much of what has been written about Dr. Scott Jensen and watched a fair number of interviews he has given. Jensen has indicated that for some of his patients he has recommended the coronavirus vaccine and for others he has not.

At my age, I signed up for the vaccine as early as I could, but I respect the right of others to come to a different conclusion if their health-risk assessment contains factors that mine does not. That does not mean that I am an “anti-vaccination conspiracy theorist.” Nor, do I believe, would that label apply to Jensen.

I had higher expectations for a writer in the Forum Communications organization. I would urge your readers to do their own investigation and determine Jensen’s suitability to be Minnesota’s governor.
