Reader Opinion: Coronavirus, really?

ReaderOpinionBlue.JPG

Dear God, I am crying out to you for forgiveness of all my sins. I fall short of your glory, but through Christ’s death on the cross, with Jesus in my heart, I am set free. I am sad for all that is going on in the world. I know that you, God, desire repentance and change in every person. I know that you, God, desire everyone to accept Jesus as their savior. I will never stop praying for everyone in the world to have a real, deep, personal, passionate and intimate relationship with Jesus.

I know that Jesus is coming back some day. I am ready. I am not sure why you, God allowed this coronavirus, but you told me that you will use this coronavirus all for your glory. God, lots of people are dying. We are all going to die someday. With Jesus in my heart, death has no sting! I will just wait patiently for the day I die or get raptured out of here.

I know that you, God, are looking carefully at the “church.” Those of us who have accepted Jesus as our savior are the “church” wherever we go and with whomever we are in contact with daily. “Church” goers are not attending church in the “building” but we can create our own “church” in creative ways during this situation.

Those people who are Christ’s followers will be remembering that Jesus died for us on the cross that Friday, but we will also be celebrating Christ’s resurrection. We have the gift of eternal life in Heaven. Romans 8:28 says, “We know that in everything God works for good with those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose.” In Jesus’ name, Amen. Have you accepted Jesus?
