Public health officials agree that wearing masks will save thousands of lives, and allow us to re-open the economy sooner. Surprisingly, this small step which will save so many lives is controversial for some people, who say that it infringes on their freedom. Do those same people complain about having to wear a shirt and shoes, or for that matter pants at stores and restaurants? Doesn't “No shirt, no shoes, no service” violate my freedom to shop without clothes on? These days, someone without a mask is frankly more of a threat to our health in a store then someone without shoes, a shirt, or even pants. Life involves thinking of others, and following some rules sometimes.
