I am writing in response to the article regarding the East Gull Lake helicopter pad. In it Mr. Schieffer was quoted as saying that we were not good or honest people. He insulted many residents of East Gull Lake and I for one resent his comment. I am one of three people owning property next to his and I try to be good and I think I am honest.
Never have I heard any citizens of East Gull Lake describe him as bad or dishonest. If he is so unhappy with us I suggest that he move to another community that he considers has good and honest people. I'm certain we'd all be happier.
