On January 20, 1961, John F. Kennedy called on all Americans to commit themselves to service and sacrifice: “And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you — ask what you can do for your country.” On April 20th, 1961 John F. Kennedy gave a speech after his failed support of freedom at the Bay of Pigs in Cuba and here is part of that speech —
"It is not the first time that Communist tanks have rolled over gallant men and women fighting to redeem the independence of their homeland. Nor is it by any means the final episode in the eternal struggle of liberty against tyranny, anywhere on the face of the globe, including Cuba itself."
Today's front runner for the Democrat party is Bernie Sanders, he tells you that you should ask what the government can do for you and openly supports Cuba's policies like he did in his recent 60 Minutes interview. The interesting question for Democrats in the upcoming election is, will you support freedom like the JFK Democrats did? Or will you support the Bernie Sanders view of making America more like Cuba?
