I have known Arlene Jones since her family purchased what is now The Farm on St. Mathias. I have witnessed her commitment and dedication to utilize the St. Mathias Farm to build community, provide access to agriculture experiences to hundreds of families and school children, and to build the capacity of numerous nonprofits through the generous donation of The Farm's beauty for large fundraising gatherings.
Both of my daughters have been employed by St. Mathias Farm. Arlene has been an outstanding character mentor for both of them, and continues in that role today. I have also witnessed Arlene's steadfast commitment to agriculture, and a deep pledge to advance economic development in support of small family farms. She has integrity, moral and character ethics. I know that Arlene is the right person to represent District 1 as county commissioner. I am Paul Koering's sister and I am voting for Arlene Jones.
