As I hang up my school board hat, I encourage voters to vote Nov. 3 to keep Bob Nystrom as a board member of Brainerd District 181. Bob is a lifelong Brainerd resident. Bob and I graduated together from BHS in 1975 and have served on the board together for many years. Bob has the experience, insight and historic passion to continue to lead and make positive decisions for all students, staff and community. Now, more than ever, we need the strong values and character that Bob possesses. I also was to thank this community for entrusting me to serve our school district for the last 17 years.
