If Mr. Stauber would like to bring good paying jobs to the Northland and raise the standard of living he might want to put some thought and energy into raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour and bring in health care for all. That would raise the standard of living for most people in Minnesota.
People often don’t take care of health issues due to cost. This would be the right thing to do, for the people of Minnesota and the whole country. Another thing Mr. Stauber could support would be to stop gerrymandering and dark monies in politics. He could also be transparent about monies he received when he was a candidate and where it came from. Another thing he could do is force mining companies to work with science, force them to be transparent, the problem is many companies have known it is easier and more cost effective to pay the fine for damaging lands.
We lost mining due to the greed and selling of our mining to other countries, corporate greed. I believe the right thing to do, is to invest in clean energy and young minds to save our waters and lands. Mr. Stauber and Mr. Gazelka it’s time to invest in future generations. We need more Greta’s and less greed, in the end if our earth wins, we win. Flint Michigan never should have happened it destroyed lives. Water is life. Billionaires became more wealthy during the Pandemic, small businesses struggled, it is a Watershed Moment, it’s time for equality. Most of us know we will not have great wealth, however living wages, health care and a way to live and raise our families is what we hope for.
Mr. Stauber , It is time for you to be transparent and accountable. Please do it!
