Only a monster would consider encouraging people to ignore the advice of health experts and sacrifice themselves in the name of stock market profit. That’s especially true when the person doing the encouraging has been told it would take the brakes off the spread of a deadly virus and that more than a million people could die as a result. It shouldn’t matter that the majority of the dead would “only” be senior citizens as the lieutenant governor of Texas argued.
We have a monster in the White House and we have one in Texas, too.
