Trump has admitted that he knew that the coronavirus was dangerous. The excuse he used was that he did not want to panic the American people. That won’t fly! When the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor the American people did not panic. They immediately mobilized to retaliate for the sneak attack
When the Japanese invaded the Philippines, our soldiers did not panic, they fought. They fought until they were ordered to stop. It was the right decision because it saved many men from certain death.
I am a veteran and I had the honor to serve with two of the men who were in the Army stationed in the Philippines. One was captured and went through the Bataan Death March and spent the rest of the war in a POW camp. The other went into the mountains with natives and spent the war as a guerilla fighter. They both went through horrible experiences. They were not losers or suckers, they were heroes. Both remained in the service after World War II was over and were involved in the Korean War. They were patriots. Something Trump knows nothing about.
The ironic thing about Trump is that if he has stopped lying to the American people and listened to the medical experts about the pandemic he would probably have insured his reelection. So much for being smarter than anyone. He missed his chance to be a decent human being. Instead he became the loser and the sucker.
