I am writing to urge the Brainerd community to elect Jana Shogren to the ISD 181 School Board.
I have known Jana for 12 years and feel she would be a natural as a school board member. Jana is dedicated, level-headed and works well with a wide variety of people. I have had the privilege of serving with Jana on the Children’s Education Committee at Lord of Life Lutheran Church. Jana is a leader and long-time active volunteer in our community. I know that she wants every child in our district to have the same support and success that she desires for her own children, who are currently students at BHS. Her platform is simple and direct. She will pledge to listen to the needs of parents and children in the school district, and act upon those interests. Exercise your right. Please vote for Jana Shogren.
