The Jan. 5 Reader Opinion letter “Disappointed in Crow Wing County Board” appears to have a hypocritical and selective sense of history as it tries to twist the past for its version of the events and the definition of “mob rule.”
Does he consider the George Floyd riots or Kenosha, Wisconsin, destruction “mob rule?”
In 2020 Minneapolis was on fire due to rioters, however they were considered “mostly peaceful protests” with approximately $2 billion dollars of damage, many people injured, business owners devastated, law enforcement officers hurt, maimed and killed.
As far as our efforts to get a forensic audit, there were never any threats or anger directed at any of the board members, the county employees or any citizens while conducting the canvassing efforts.
The fact is, we took great efforts to remain impartial, unbiased.

All the people involved were praised and thanked by the previous board chairman, Mr. Barrows, for the peaceful and respectful way we represented ourselves and presented our information to them. It is so sad that our county, state and nation now view evil as good and good as evil,
right as wrong and wrong as right. When will the nonsense end? When will the hypocrisy be called out and be seen for what it is?
As citizens concerned about election integrity, we have been condemned by the League of Women Voters with accusations on our effort to restore integrity to our elections, and we now have opinion letters from citizens that have no Idea what information we found and only have anger to offer as a response.
People wake up and think for yourself, take a stand if you ever want this nonsense to end!
