Sen. Carrie Ruud of Crow Wing County is a legislator deserving of bipartisan support, due to her strong environmental record. She has chaired the Environment and Natural Resources Policy and Legacy Finance Committee and served on the Environment and Natural Resources Finance Committee.
She has authored many bills for these committees. She supported the environment on 10 out of 13 votes in 2020. She voted in favor of HF80, “Fix the Raid on Environmental Trust Funds,” which allows bond funding for infrastructure projects.
