It is my pleasure to recommend Jana Shogren for election to our ISD 181 School Board. I have had the pleasure of knowing Jana for over 10 years when her daughter enrolled in our dance program as a young child.
Jana chaired the Outreach Committee for the vote YES committee for the ISD 181 referendum. I was able to collaborate with her when she was working very hard on that committee which was successful in getting the referendum passed. It was a pleasure getting to know her better and see her in action.
She has been an involved community member since moving here 19 years ago.
She has also been an involved and caring dance parent for our Just For Kix program as well as our Brainerd Warrior Dance Team program. She is quick to volunteer, collaborate, and get her hands dirty helping on this and that. Jana is also a very appreciative and respectful parent, often sending cards and texts of thanks.
She is exactly what our school board needs.
