You can do something immediately to reduce vehicle pollution by making a public comment about the Clean Car Rule to the MPCA at bit.ly/ccmncomment . This rule will improve the clean emissions standards for manufacturers and give credits to manufacturers to increase EV options. (Currently Minnesota does not have access to all the EV options that are made.) Comments are open until March 15, and we need to show our support.

An increase in EV use will be better for health and the environment, and over the long term, less expensive (a car buyer will save $1,600 over the life of an EV). A Consumer Reports Survey shows that 60% of Minnesota car buyers are interested in EVs! The more EVs available, the better the market for used EVs for those who can't afford new vehicles.
