Reader Opinion: The choice is yours

As we prepare for Jesus’ return, Bruce and I spend time reading your word. There are verses in the Bible that speak of the things that will happen before Christ returns. We are not afraid, because Bruce and I have Jesus Christ in our hearts and we are yielding to the promptings of the Holy Spirit and we know that our names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

There are verses in the Bible that talk about all the natural disasters and “storms” that will happen before you send Jesus Christ back. There will be droughts, famines, fires, earthquakes and sickness. The Bible says that these “storms” will fall on the “just and the unjust.”

In the book of 2 Timothy 3: 1-5, the Bible tells about the godlessness and lawlessness in the last days. People will be lovers of self, money, proudful, arrogant, abusive, disobedient, ungrateful, unholy, inhuman and lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God.

God, we know that you are watching all of mankind and some day, every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. God, we are so grateful for Christ’s death on the cross for our sins and with Jesus Christ in our hearts, we have the free gift of eternal life with him forever. Oh, God what a glorious day it will be when our Jesus we will see.

There is so much to look forward to when Jesus Christ comes back for his children. We pray that all people will come to have a relationship with Jesus Christ so their names will be added to the Lamb’s Book of Life. Heaven is real and hell is hot. People need to make up their minds. Love you, God. In Jesus’ name, amen.
