I was pleased to see the Dispatch covering the 31st annual Tour of Lakes bike ride. Once again, we are starting and finishing on Laurel Street downtown on the first Saturday in June. I wanted to offer a friendly correction, the story said that the ride was June 20, it is actually June 6, the first Saturday. Keeping the dates of all the local events strait is not easy, and myself as the organizer, and all members of the Paul Bunyan Cyclists who put the event on, appreciate all that the Dispatch does in covering our event. I hope to see all of you readers on June 6 for the ride, we have an easy 35 mile short route with two rest stops, fine for all types of bikes and riders, and a 66 mile route with three rest stops if you want to rack up some more miles.
