If you carry an AK-47 down the street that does not make you brave, it makes you a bully trying to intimidate people. If this type of assault rifle is in the wrong hands it is then a killing machine! One cannot separate a killer of people from their guns if their mentality does not value life! We need a balance, as of yet the “leaders” and the NRA have no qualms continuing their greed at the expense of innocent lives. This writer knows responsible gun owners, that is not what I am writing about! Those who cannot see this are part of the problem and are complicit in not protecting our children, our law enforcement and every victim of gun violence committed by those who are unhinged and those who have no value of life! Also on that note if you choose to believe poverty, loss of hope and sickness do not lead desperation, then you are complicit in not leveling the playing field and you are causing direct harm to human beings! I do cringe inside when I see “Trump, Guns and God” on cars or posts. To those who believe this, I see disgrace of God, the Creator and all of Christ’s teachings while on earth! To those who do not fight for clean water and protecting the Earth that was created for us to sustain life, I see the destruction of our children’s lives! We can do clean energy, use our young minds to create this! To those who believe the pandemic is a hoax, tell that to those families who have lost loved ones, gasping for breath! It is not hard to be kind and think about others! Leading with violence or AK-47s is not about life, it is death and destruction.
