My name is Sally Ward. I have been married to John Ward for 48 years. We have four adult children that have all graduated from Brainerd High School. We have 11 grandchildren, some of which currently attend Brainerd Public Schools. I have personally witnessed John’s dedication to this district. I have had the opportunity to watch John make an impact in many people’s lives by making a difference in their lives. He has had a remarkable teaching and coaching career. As an elected official John has had a positive impact in the lives of people who were struggling with different issues. As a community leader John has volunteered in many nonprofit organizations. John has a history of giving back, paying it forward and working to make our community a better place to live. He will also do that as a school board member.
