I am not a Baxter resident, but I was John Ward’s campaign manager during the eight years he was in the Legislature. During that period we communicated at least weekly and many times daily. I observed the personal traits, skills and abilities he would bring to the table as a Baxter City Councilperson.
I have never worked with anyone having John’s energy, drive and attention to detail. He will always research any issue put before him, seek input, collaborate if necessary, and make sure he understands the “bottom line” before making a decision.
Based on comments made to me, John earned the trust and respect of his fellow legislators. Their comments included the words experienced, passionate, principled and hardworking to mention a few. John has the skills to build coalitions to get the job done.
I recommend writing in the name John Ward for Baxter City Council.
