John Ward is well known for his activism and follows his passion consistently. He is willing to take on the most difficult tasks and backs away from no challenge.

John is known for his willingness to tackle all situations. When we lost a close friend, John took it upon himself to organize an All Night Dance in the memory of our friend. John led hundreds of students, parents and staff toward the goal of raising money for a variety of causes. During John’s tenure as the mayor of Proctor, he was revered and many years later is still in demand as a speaker at key civic events.

Nothing surpasses John’s passion for students and education, and this will be most evident as a school board member. He will always vote to support student achievement, student safety, and can be trusted to support the community he serves.
