Dear God, what do you think about Valentine’s Day? The word love is in your word, the Bible, King James Version, 310 times. I know that the Bible tells us that we are to love one another. It also says that we are to love others more than ourselves. It also says in the Bible that we are to love our enemies and pray for them. I really don’t understand Valentine’s Day, God.
I found out that in America alone last year, people spent $20.7 billion on Valentine’s Day. I am so sad, because we need to help the poor, the homeless, the orphans, the disabled, the veterans, the widows and those who are in a jail or a prison. There is so much to do before Christ returns. I need help from you, God to help me to use my gifts, talents, time and money to show love every day, especially for those in need. I want people to find Jesus Christ as their savior. It says in the Bible that God is love in 1 John 4:8. I am really praying that adults and children will learn to love everyone and get along and help to make the world a better place to live. I want people to get along and work in harmony and unity. I love you, Lord and everyone in the whole, wide world and I want to help You to fill up heaven. This earth is not our home and we are just passing through. There are only two destinations after this world, one is heaven and the other is hell. I am choosing heaven. Thanks for listening to me. In Jesus’ name, amen.
