I see in the Brainerd Dispatch a young lad is writing all politicians to see how many will respond. Good luck with that.
Being a volunteer driver driver (using my own vehicle), we drivers are now being taxed on our mileage reimbursement.
Wanting to know the reason for this, I called and emailed three politicians on this matter. They were Dale Lueck, Greg Davids and Pete Stauber. I got a call from Mr. Stauber for a phone discussion. I called his office last week. Thank you Mr. Stauber. Lueck and Davids were contacted last year. Not one response. Shame on you people.
Wait a minute, I can see where the state needs the extra revenue, there’s only a $1.3 billion surplus.
