"For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6. Amen!
It's hard to get these elections out of my mind and all that's still going on.
This last election makes me feel like MSNBC's Rachel Maddow when she knew Trump won, she looks straight into the camera, gives a very deep sigh and says, "Your awake, by the way, your not having a terrible, terrible dream, your not dead and haven't gone to hell. This is our life now." I almost, almost, feel that way about putting the gavel of attorney general into the hands of Keith Ellison! Minnesota has elected some pretty radical candidates in the past, of course that's up the individual's discretion, but he really fits the word radical! God, not Allah, help us. Amen.
Since I'm stirring the pot, a statement by Jessamyn West seem to be used by both climate change camps, "We want the facts to fit the preconceptions. When they don't, it is easier to ignore the facts than change the preconceptions" I'll hold back my judgement.
A radical man came as a baby to radically change this world one heart at a time. John-Paul said it best of what not to do at this Christmas season, "The worst prison would be a closed heart." Open your heart and mind to let Jesus' peace, light and eternal life saving blessing in. Find the reason for the season, Jesus, Immanuel, God with us! This is my prayer for you this Christmas. Amen.
