On Nov. 12, 2015, Minnesotans stepped forward to donate over $18,063,000 to schools and nonprofit organizations across the state. This giving spirit will help many organizations in our area, including Paws and Claws Rescue and Resort, fulfill their mission.
This year we received a matching contribution, so I am especially pleased to report that the purchasing power of our donations have been doubled! On behalf of our board of directors, and all who are working alongside us to bring an animal shelter to Cass County, I would like to thank everyone who contributed to our organization during this fundraising event and to our area newspapers who helped spread the word. Your generosity has helped us take another step forward on the road to building a shelter for the animals of Cass County that need forever homes.
