I fully agree with Guy Green's recent guest editorial, he hits the nail right on the head - government is out of control, the amount of taxes collected is unreasonable at all layers of government, schools, federal, state, county and city. Way too much waste and empire building, too many high paid supervisors and not enough workers. Offices accomplish nothing but try to justify their existence.
We have too many professional politicians. Just look at our county government, it is loaded with former state elected officials and long term board members, political families, etc. This all leads to corruption and uncontrolled spending to reward contributors and special interest groups.
We need representatives to represent the voters. As Guy said, government is the largest employer in America, it is time that everyday normal people tell our self-appointed politocrats that we have had enough.
Unless of course you think that Mark Ostgarden, Ed Shaw, Chip Borkenhagen, Timothy Houle, Rachel Nystrom, Paul Koering, Paul Thiede, Mark Dayton, Amy Klobuchar, Al Franken, Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Barack Obama and too many more to name are the answer. They all operate on the agenda-I have been here so long you have to listen to me.
What ever happened to God who created our great country and voters who cared and were not filled with apathy. The government that governs least governs best.
