Congratulations Minnesota, we elected Amy Klobuchar to six more years as our U.S. Senator. However, we should all know and realize that the next two years will be filled with nonfeasance, as she dabbles with another run for President.
Amy has already started her visits to Iowa. Going to Perry to talk to the Iowa Farmers Union. Seems strange to me that a Minnesota senator and a member of the Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor party had to travel to Iowa to talk to farmers. Let us not forget she decided to patronize these individuals by talking about how she wants to bridge the gap between metro and farmers. What has she been doing for 12 years as a member of the DFL?
We can expect the senator to make more trips to Iowa and maybe even a trip to New Hampshire, of course paid for by the taxpayers because she won't "declare" her candidacy for president, she will just continue to talk about it and tell stories about how people are talking to her about it, because as soon as she does she will have to pay for these boondoggles.
It's time we force these ladies and gentlemen resign their offices if they are going to run for another office. They've been elected to serve in one office and sever the people not blow off their job to go campaigning for another.
