This whole sign removal fiasco is just another example of how poorly our city officials communicate with us. I had my sign removed from my yard in northeast Brainerd even after placing it out of where I believed the right of way to be. I'm tired of being treated like I'm unable to manage my property by a city council who seems more concerned with yard maintenance and street numbers on houses than with the real issues of our city! Why is it that the good people who take care of their properties are always the ones being harassed for the smallest out of place item when the guy down the street has an entire redneck safari adventure displayed in his front yard? I'm sick of this city council. I'm voting for Dave Badeaux because it's time we put an end to the games and start making some real changes.
