"But who do you say that I am?" Jesus asked. Matt. 16:15b.
Before this Christmas season is a wrap, ask yourselves these questions: Who do you say Jesus is? Who is he in your heart of hearts? Who are you to Jesus? Friend, foe, follower, skeptic, uncommitted, uncertain, afraid of what others would say or think, dead set against or born again?
Read the Guest Opinion on Christmas Day in the Dispatch, it really tells it like it is about Jesus, shows there is no middle ground, it's all or nothing.
Here's a riddle to help your New Year.
I am your constant companion.

I am your greatest helper or your heaviest burden.
I will push you onward, or drag you down to failure.
I am completely at your command!
Half the tasks you do, you might as well turn over to me.
I will do them, and correctly.
I am easily managed, you must merely be firm with me.
Show me just how you want things done, and
after a few lessons, I will do them automatically.

I am the servant of all great men and woman -
alas, of all failures as well.
Those who are great, I have made great.
Those who are failures, I have made failures.
I am not a machine, but I work with all the precision of a machine'
plus-with the intelligence of men.
You may run me for profit or run me for ruin;
it makes no difference to me.

Take me, train me, be firm with me, and
I will put the world at your feet.
Be lax with me, and I will destroy you.
Who am I? I am habit.
God bless 2019! God bless America. Amen
