Reader Opinion: Bully in chief

Republicans used Trump to achieve specific goals. Trump pandered to specific groups to get elected. When four Republicans told my wife and me that all Democrats should be drowned I knew our country was in trouble.

There are two kinds of businesspeople. I've been in business related jobs for 55 years. Some businesspeople "serve" clients and customers. Others rip your "financial" heads off and laugh all the way to the bank. Trump is the latter.

Trump goes against everything I've ever learned in Sunday school, church, at home, Boy Scouts, sports, humanities classes, business, college and music.

Trump is a "classic" bully. He is a mean person. He lies constantly. He has no remorse. Enough said!

Now that "evangelical" Christians have a supreme court justice that may overturn Roe v. Wade.

Now that businesspeople have a president that will eliminate regulations.

Now the NRA can be rest assured that President Obama and Secretary Clinton will never confiscate their weapons.

Now that climate change deniers are well established within the Republican Party.

Now that "alpha males" are "in charge" again.

Not that the military has a huge increase in their budget.

Now that bullies finally have a "bully in chief."

Now that white supremacists have their man in the White House.

Now that rich people may get additional tax breaks.

Now that misogynists have their role model.

Now that Republicans have exacted their revenge on Democrats.

Now that Fox News (Benghazi and emails) helped Trump get elected.

Now that Trump has overturned or tried to overturn policies that help the poor and middle class. We the people must tell our representatives and senators that they should depose Trump before our public schools, the environment, our parks, our children, Medicaid, health care and civility are decimated.
