The controversial Council on America-Islamic Relations, was given free reign last week to promote their propaganda via a CLC forum and the Brainerd Dispatch.
Issues that CAIR never discusses are how they've been identified by the U.S. government as being a member of the U.S. Palestine Committee, which is not only the Muslim Brotherhood, it is Hamas, a terrorist organization.
CAIR was also involved in co-conspiracy in the Holy Land Foundation trial, which revealed numerous instances of CAIR's involvement in the most serious ploy by the Muslim Brotherhood in this country.
In an excerpt from an Explanatory Memorandum discovered in the HLF trial, we see how associates of CAIR, the Muslim Brotherhood, expose their true intentions:
"...their work in America is a kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and 'sabotaging' its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God's religion is made victorious over all other religions."

Faculty at CLC promotes this controversial organization in order to "build bridges" with our Muslim neighbors in the community, and yet refuse to research CAIR's background. When provided with facts, CLC considers them controversial and will not allow these same "facts" to be presented.
CLC promotes CAIR's propaganda by providing them a public forum, while Brainerd Dispatch reporters, playing roles as stenographers, simply write word-for-word what the CAIR presenter says, never allowing for questions from the audience, unless the questions are written and submitted so the CAIR representative can screen the questions.
CLC promotes itself as an institution of higher learning, but when asked to provide a forum with fact-based opposing viewpoints, they refuse and revert back to that old liberal based response, "Oh, that's controversial, and we don't want that here."
