This week we celebrate Independence Day, but for so many years a great volume of the population calls in "4th of July." I have one big question for everyone out there. Why do we say have a happy 4th? What makes 4th of July worth celebrating? I would have to say it is our Independence Day. If we were to do this about every holiday it would be Happy 31st of October or Happy 14th of February just to name a couple.

Can we start declaring the holiday instead of the date it falls on? If we don't then this holiday starts to lose its meaning.
