We hear how extreme weather is an indicator of climate change. Well, climate change has always been with us. Here are a few examples from the 20s and 30s. These are headlines in papers around America. Sept. 9, 1923: "Tokyo and Yokohama destroyed by 'quake-300,000 killed, 500,000 injured." Sept. 19, 1926: "Wind kills 1,000; 38,000 lose homes-Florida." Sept. 30, 1927: "In 5 minutes wind kills 69, injures 600-St.Louis, Mo." March 10, 1933: "Earthquake kills 123, more than 4,150 injured in Calif." Jan. 27, 1937: "Floods make nearly one million homeless-hundreds killed-worst floods in the history of the Ohio and Mississippi rivers." Maybe the left in America is confusing climate change with 2 Peter 3:10: "The heavens will disappear with a roar, the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare." Revelation 21:1: "Then God will create a new heaven and a new earth." Maybe the left should put a little more trust in God, instead of the weather?
