I am so amazed at differences in conventions ("County DFL elects District Delegates" on the front page of the April 4 Dispatch). When electing delegates as Republicans, we would never split the delegates by gender or ask who they will be supporting as a candidate. it is up to the delegate if they want to tell us they are a man or a woman and who they are supporting. We would rather know where they stand on issues.

Where do the transgenders and cross-dressers fit in the DFL delegation?

We know it is the Minnesota DFLers who are boycotting business to and with North Carolina for their Legislation on XX and XY only bathrooms (St. Cloud Times from April 2-"Dayton Bans Travel to N.C."). I am glad Crow Wing County Republicans discussed, amended and voted on all our resolutions presented, not just the top 15. It took time but the discussions were worth it-everyone learned something.

And yes, I do not want a man in the women's locker room even if they look pretty-XX and XY use to be scientific now it is considered being intolerant. I know everyone goes, but does everything go with the DFL? Guess so, unless you are a DFL delegate, no gender neutrality there.
