Well, it is after Christmas. We have had a lot of news lately. We heard Michele Bachmann give her regular foreign policy declaration. Just bomb them.
When she is called on lies, she doesn't back down. Apparently she believes that if she can convince one person to believe something it is no longer a lie. She has been an embarrassment to the state and the country for about eight years. Mr. Emmer has little chance of not doing better. The bar is low.
Florida has a senator whose parents left Cuba before Castro led the Revolution that threw out Batista and the mob that ran most of Cuba and controlled the wealth of the country. I remember that Castro was hailed as a hero in this country at the time until he confiscated the property of some U.S. corporations and the gangs from Miami. We had some people that were afraid of the communist bogeyman. Shame on us, afraid of a little island like that. They have come a long way from the nearly illiterate country to one which is known for providing medical help and training all over the world. I remember.
